UniMenu is a menu development and presentation package that provides aflexible, user-modifiable interface to UNIX commands and/or localapplications. Features include multilevel menus, layers, windows, forms,selection lists, command windows, browsing windows, and context-sensitivehelp.The default configuration presents UNIX utilities in organized groups,and provides an interactive command interface. The menu system can bemodified by editing simple text files, with menus nested to any levelwithout increased start-up time or memory requirements. UniMenu can beused with default system-wide menus or user-defined menus.UniMenu also provides quick access to the shell for experienced users.When integrated with other utilities, such as a directory editor, UniMenubecomes an even more powerful tool for applications management, and aflexible extension to system management utilities.
